These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website ejathenstransfer.gr and all transportation services provided by EJ Athens Transfer (the “Company”, “we”, “us”).

By booking or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and fully agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

2. SERVICES

We provide private transportation services, including:

Airport transfers (Athens International Airport “El. Venizelos”)
Hotel transfers
Port transfers (Piraeus and other ports)
Private point-to-point transfers
Business and VIP transportation
Disposal services

All services are private unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3. BOOKING CONFIRMATION

A booking becomes legally binding only when:

The reservation is confirmed by the Company
A deposit or full payment has been received

Once confirmed, a transport service contract is formed between the customer and EJ Athens Transfer.

4. PRICES & INCLUSIONS

4.1 Included in all transfers

Private vehicle (vechicle type depands on the number of people and availability)
Professional English-speaking or Spanish-speaking driver, knowledgable of Greek history
Fuel and tolls
Parking fees
VAT
Standard luggage allowance
Flight monitoring (airport transfers)

4.2 Not included

Extra stops not agreed in advance
Excess luggage requiring additional vehicle
Personal expenses
Tips or gratuities

5. PAYMENT TERMS

A 50% deposit is required to confirm most bookings
Full payment may be requested depending on service type
Remaining balance must be paid at least 9 days before service date
Payment fees (bank or card) are borne by the customer

Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking.

6. CANCELLATION POLICY

15+ days before service: Full refund
10–14 days before service: 50% cancellation fee applies
9 days or less: No refund
No-show: No refund

If EJ Athens Transfer cancels a service, a full refund will be issued. Refunds are processed using the original payment method.

7. AIRPORT TRANSFERS

7.1 Flight Information

Customers must provide correct flight number, arrival time, and destination address. We are not responsible for delays due to incorrect information.

7.2 Meeting Procedure

Driver monitors flight status in real time
Pickup is arranged at the designated meeting point
Driver may hold a name sign where required

7.3 Waiting Time

Standard waiting time: up to 70 minutes after landing
Customers must contact us immediately in case of delays

7.4 Flight Delays

We monitor flights and adjust pickup when possible
Delays over 90 minutes depend on driver availability
Service is not guaranteed without communication

7.5 Early or Missed Flights

Early arrivals: service applies to originally scheduled time
Missed/cancelled flights: no obligation unless rescheduled
Customers must notify us immediately

8. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Be ready at agreed pickup time
Provide accurate travel details
Inform us immediately of changes
Behave respectfully toward drivers and vehicles

Failure to comply may result in cancellation without refund.

9. VEHICLE RULES

Smoking is strictly prohibited
No eating inside vehicles
Only sealed bottled drinks allowed
Respect for driver and vehicle is required

10. DRIVER CONDITIONS

Drivers comply with Greek traffic laws
May use hands-free communication
Not licensed tour guides unless stated

11. SERVICE LIMITATIONS

We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, airport restrictions, or force majeure events.

12. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not responsible for events beyond our control including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, war, or government restrictions. Services may be rescheduled or refunded where possible.

13. LIABILITY

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service. We are not responsible for indirect damages or third-party delays. Nothing excludes liability for death, injury, or fraud.

14. DATA PROTECTION (GDPR)

We process personal data strictly for booking, service delivery, communication, and legal compliance in accordance with GDPR (EU 2016/679).

15. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We may use trusted providers such as payment processors, booking platforms, hosting, and mapping tools, all GDPR-compliant.

16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by Greek law. Courts of Athens have exclusive jurisdiction.
